Since platinum was discovered in the 1500s it has been used to manufacture many different products including: jewelry,dental caps, anti-tumor agents, weights and measures, magnets and has also been used as a catalyst. This is the one that interests us at Platinum Technologies the most.

As a catalyst, Platinum helps fuel burn more completely from the normal rate of 68% up to 90%. This is in gasoline powered engines. This more complete form of combustion reduces pollution, spewing from the exhaust pipe of each and every vehicle. Studies have shown reductions in CO/2 emissions when platinum is in the combustion chamber. Under these conditions the engine is cleaner with reduced wear ( usually caused by carbon deposits building inside the engine) and runs more efficiently. Of course all of that pollution is not from automobiles, but, some certainly is. We are all breathing in this pollution every minute of every day and have no options available to us. This includes our children, grandchildren, parents and friends. Pollution is also linked to 24,000 cases of cancer and 2,500 low birth weight babies born in Canada every year. These statistics are, to say the least, very alarming, and we can all help by reducing emissions produced by our own vehicles. Good health is hard to come by in this day and age and even harder to maintain given these facts.
